Good morning and happy Friday!

I could write about Ryan Braun successfully appealing his suspension due to chain of custody issues with the sample that tested positive, but I think everybody already read enough about that. I hope that Major League Baseball addresses the shortcomings in its testing program that allowed the error to occur and the test results to be leaked prematurely.
I could write about the Mets front office taking a helicopter to the Knicks game last night, but I honestly don’t care. Rich people deciding to spend their money on something they consider worthwhile? How dare they!
So I guess that leaves me with Jason Bay, who made his appearance at spring training camp Thursday. (Hey Terry Collins – where were your public statements of ”disappointment” over Bay’s “late” arrival? Have you given up on him just like every Mets fan?)
Bay told reporters who asked him about the Mets’ chances, “I think it’s not out of the realm of truth that we can be pretty good.”
I don’t think Bay has much of a future as a motivational speaker… and I don’t really want to write about him either.
So let me send you over to The Real Dirty Mets Blog so you can marvel at photos of Dillon Gee, Tim Byrdak and their beards facial hair and wish you a good weekend.
