Weekend card show & autograph appearances

Three New York baseball stars will be appearing at area AT&T stores this weekend.

• Bucky Dent will be at the Union AT&T Store at 2268 US Highway 22 Center in Union, from 5-6:30 p.m. today.
• Dwight Gooden will be at the Queens Center Mall At&T store at 90-15 Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst, N.Y. from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. tomorrow.
• Graig Nettles will be at the Galleria at Crystall Run Mall AT&T store at 1 Galleria Drive in Middletown, N.Y. from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The players will only sign AT&T autograph items at these appearances.

MAB Celebrity Services will be holding a “Super Blue Celebration” at the Franklin Crossing Shopping Center in Franklin Lakes on Saturday. Thirteen members of the championship New York Giants football team are scheduled to be there signing autographs, including Mario Manningham and Osi Umenyiora. Tickets range from $15 to $79, depending upon the player and item to be signed.

There will be a sports cards show at the Holmdel Firehouse, 35 Main Street in Holmdel from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Also on Sunday, former New York Giants football players Stephen Baker and Mark Collins will meet fans and sign autographs at Miami Mike’s Sports Zone, 130 Rt. 10 West, in East Hanover from 3-5 p.m.

And if you’re not working or in school on Monday, you may want to go see John Franco and Mr. Met when they stop by three Manhattan locations on Monday to promote a special pre-sale of single-game tickets for CitiBank customers. Check the press release posted at MetsPolice.com for details.
