Mets single-game tickets go on sale at 10 a.m.

The “official” on-sale date for Mets’ single game tickets is Monday, March 5th, but today is the first crack at them for most people. Citi Bank cardholders, Mets ticket plan holders, and presumably Club Mets members already had their pre-sales.

Today is the day for “Flushing Flash” newsletter subscribers and blog readers – in short, everybody. I won’t share the “Flushing Flash” password, but I will send you over to Mets Police if you want the blog readers’ one. Both are valid online only, starting TODAY, Wednesday, February 29 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, March 1 at 11:59 p.m.

A limited number of Opening Day and Subway Series tickets will be made available through the pre-sale.

With the introduction of dynamic ticket pricing in 2012 – Mets Police is reporting that it’s already taking affect – you should probably pick up your tickets early if there are any particular games (like Banner Day, John Franco‘s Mets Hall of Fame induction or the bobblehead giveaways) that you definitely want to attend.
