There are several sports card shows in the Garden State this weekend.
- Popular 1980s New York Mets Dwight Gooden and Keith Hernandez are scheduled as autograph guests at a show on Saturday at the Sheraton Hotel, 6 Industrial Way East in Eatontown from noon until 2 p.m. Autographs start at $20 for Gooden and $35 for Hernandez. - Gooden is also scheduled to appear at a Collectors’ Showcase of America show at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison on Sunday. The two-day show will feature a large number of other sports guests, mainly football players.
- There is a three-day sports card show at the Deptford Mall, 1750 Deptford Center Drive in Deptford. Tonight and tomorrow, the show runs from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday it runs from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. There should be approximately 50 tables.
