Learn about the oddities of baseball scoring from an official scorer

A pair of scorecards waiting to capture memories of the 2012 baseball season

If you’re a regular reader, you know I have an interest in baseball scoring.

On Wednesday, May 2nd, you can learn about the history of baseball scoring and the “Scoring Oddities of Baseball” from John Nolan, the official scorer of the Somerset Patriots. Nolan will give his presentation at the Cranford Community Center, 224 Walnut Avenue, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Attemdees are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s cap and/or shirt to the free program.
