I got three signed baseball cards in the mail this week.
First up is St. Louis Cardinals closer Jason Motte, a converted catcher who won the job late last year and was on the mound when the Cardinals won both the NL pennant and World Series championship.
Todd Frazier is was born in Point Pleasant and played for the Toms River team that won the 1998 Little League World Series. He made his major league debut with the Cincinnati Reds last year.
I would have led off with Hall of Famer Gaylord Perry, but this card came from a private autograph signing conducted by Chris Potter Sports rather than an actual autograph request.
To my fellow through-the-mail autograph collectors, what have you gotten back recently?
