The 1967 New York Mets team finished the year with a 61-101 record. The 2012 Mets probably won’t be that bad – they just need five more wins to guarantee a better record – but anyone who’s watched them lately can be forgiven it they think they’ve seen another 100-loss caliber team.

About me
I live in New Jersey and write about the New York Mets, with a focus on baseball cards, autographs and other memorabilia. I also write about the other pro baseball teams in the area, including the Newark Bears, Trenton Thunder & Brooklyn Cyclones.
Autograph Project
I'm trying to obtain a baseball card signed by each player who has appeared in a game for the New York Mets. I currently have 853 of 953 Mets players.

At least the ’67 Mets had Seaver and Koosman to look forward to. Though I’m hoping Wheeler and Harvey will come close some day.
