Claudell Washington played for seven Major League teams during a 17-year career that spanned from 1975-1990, including both the New York Mets and New York Yankees. He’s got a World Series ring from the Oakland Athletics’ 1974 championship, and was an All-Star with the A’s and the Atlanta Braves.
He’s on a lot of autograph collectors’ wantlists because he really hasn’t made many appearances since his retirement and does not sign through the mail.
On Thanksgiving weekend, Washington is scheduled to appear at JP’s Sports & Rock Solid Promotions sports card show at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, N.Y. Autographs will be $25 with free inscriptions.
If you are not in the area (or have other plans for the holiday weekend), JP’s Sports offers mail order and I’ve had good experiences dealing with them in the past.

On SCN, there is a private signing with Washington to take place on 11/5 for $15.
Thanks for the heads up
