Clearly one of the best ever. Here’s a thought- he made the HOF on his first try: 91% of the vote. WTH were the other 9% thinking?

Given how the BBWAA voted this year, you have to wonder what percentage of the vote he would have received if he’d been on the ballot for the first time this year. I’d guess around 61%.
Probably not a weekend I want to try to figure out the BBWAA members’ thought processes…
To Hell with the BBWAA.
