On Monday, the Newark Bears announced a job fair on Saturday, February 9th from noon to 2 p.m. For more information and to RSVP (by February 2nd), email info@newarkbears.com.
Coming up on March 16th, you’ll have the opportunity to audition for the Honey Bears dance team, to play mascots Ruppert or Effa, or be the on-field host. You will also be able to try out to sing the National Anthem before a Bears game. Visit the Bears’ website for more information.
Finally, if you’d like to play for the Newark Bears in 2013, the team will hold tryouts on April 13th. Visit the Bears’ website for more information.

Baseball really needs more cheerleaders. I’d like to see them for more minor league teams.
