The Trenton Thunder announced plans to upgrade the video boards at Arm & Hammer Park for the 2013 season. The biggest upgrade is to the right field video board, which will be four times larger than the current one. The left field video display will also be updated.
“This video project is a fantastic way to give the fans something exciting as we start our 20th season,” said Thunder General Manager Will Smith in the team’s press release. “There is no doubt that fans will be ‘wowed’ when they walk into the ballpark and see the enormous screens, high resolution picture and superior brightness. The Thunder entertainment experience will exceed everyone’s expectations.”

I wonder if the cost is going to eventually be passed on to customers
It may not be, directly. The new video board will let them show commercials in between innings, could be what will pay for the upgrade.
