Riversharks Getting New Owners?

The Camden Riversharks may have new ownership by the time the 2011 Atlantic League season begins, according to a report by Don Benevento in the Courier Post.

The Riversharks are currently owned by Frank Boulton, who also has a stake in the Long Island Ducks and the Bridgeport Bluefish, and Opening Day Partners, a group that also owns the Lancaster Barnstormers, York Revolution and Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.

“For the last five years or so, we’ve been looking into adding some local people to our ownership,” Boulton told the paper. “We’d like to get somebody who has their roots in the community.”
