The Trenton Thunder announced Thursday that the Jersey Pinstripes Hot Stove Dinner, originally scheduled for January 31st, has been cancelled “due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts.” If you purchased tickets, you should receive a refund.

The event was to have kicked off the 20th season of Trenton Thunder baseball and raised money for local Hurricane Sandy Relief Funds and Trenton Thunder Charities. Comedian Joe Piscopo; former New York Yankee player, manager and general manager Gene “Stick” Michael; Philadelphia Phillies television broadcaster Tom McCarthy, former St. Louis Cardinal &  1982 World Series Champion Steve Braun, and Boston Red Sox Boston prospect Jayson Hernandez had been announced as guests.
