Comments policy

I welcome comments about what I have to say, whether you agree with me or disagree with me.

But I do insist upon civility – to me, to other commenters and to the various baseball people that we are talking about. If I do not think that you are being civil, I will probably remove your comment.

My regular commenters – and the majority of my occasional visitors – all understand this.

But for the handful of others, allow me to clarify something: This is not a message board, it’s a blog.

More specifically, it’s my blog and nothing requires me to let anyone else use it as their personal soapbox.

I reserve the absolute right, but not the obligation, to review, edit or delete any comment that is illegal, offensive or inappropriate. The decision regarding whether a comment  is offensive or inappropriate shall be within my sole discretion. Please be advised that I will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing me to disclose personal information of anyone who submits a comment. Although I reserve the right to monitor or review comments submitted on the Site, I am under no obligation to do so and assume no responsibility or liability that may result from the content of any reader comment nor for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained therein.
