October autograph collection acquisitions

I added 14 autographs to my collection in October, some of which I’ve already showcased. But since I didn’t get to them all, here’s a roundup:

Charlie “Tim” Thompson has been confusing baseball card collectors since the 1950s, as chronicled at Baseball By The Letters. He evidently prefers to go by his given name these days, though if you look him up at Baseball-Reference.com he’ll be listed as “Tim.” Thompson played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Kansas City Athletics and Detroit Tigers.

Goetz

    • Thanks. I was looking at Toca’s stats, and he must have been amazing during his Binghamton stint… Too bad he couldn’t replicate that success elsewhere.
