Pedrique moves up

Al Pedrique will not approach Tony Franklin‘s longevity with the Trenton Thunder. The 2015 Thunder skipper will be moving up to the Triple-A level and manage the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders next season.

Pedrique led the Thunder to a 71-71 record, good for a third place finish in the Eastern League’s Eastern Division in 2015.

There is no word on who will replace Pedrique in the Thunder dugout next year. If the Yankees promote from within the organization, Single-A Tampa Yankees manager Luis Sojo is one possibility.
